I’m trying to get a feel for the scale of the cordwaining community.
Approximately how many hand-made boot and shoe makers do you think there are in the US?
let’s count anyone who sells what they make on a regular basis, and who does most of the steps themselves.
Dozens? Hundreds? Thousands?
What if we count hobbyists who’ve made a few pairs?
(someone on another site replied “I bet Lisa would know, she’s probably sold supplies to most of them”)
