I found a very efficient way to strop/sharpen the blade on these.
I took a scrap piece of leather about as wide as the blade, rubbed a bunch of polishing compound on the flesh side and then just pulled it through the blade backwards. Just let the machine do all the work. Amazing the difference it made in cutting.
