Multi machine sewing table

While visiting a friend I was lamenting needing a 31 class machine for stitching boot tops but not having space for another table.
He asked why I didn’t just run it in my current table and swap it back and forth.

Novel concept to me since I like my knee lift.

Well after getting my 31-15 from Toledo industrial sewing machines. I set it in my existing table that my juki 563-Lu sits in and sized everything up. I still have to get a 3L500 belt but I’m running it in a leather belt at the moment.

I got the 31 class knee lift in today and got it installed.
The legs straddle the mount bar for the 563 knee lift and nest perfectly together. All I have to do is swap in whichever knee bar I want for whichever machine tighten the bolt, lift the belt to the machine. And it’s off to the races. I even placed a hook to hold whichever belt I’m not using at the moment to keep it away from slinging shafts and pulleys.

By the way if you haven’t tried the little magnetic led lights from China you’re missing out. Compact nd plenty bright and 1/4” from the needle bar. No shadow just good light to see details.
