Peg Sizes
Traditional Imperial Sizes
Defunct makers like Kearsage and some modern makers like Blau Ring give sizes stated like “X/Y” or “X×Y” denoting length of X/8 inch and width of 1/Y inch. In other words, the first number is how many eights of an inch long and the second number is width in peg widths per inch.
